Following the physical checkup the pups were moved to the Puppy Kennel.

At the Puppy Kennel they were placed into two stalls, 3 boys with a big girl and 4 girls. After a couple of days following the tattooing and physical, we are able to play with them in the socializing yard. The visits lasts about 30 minutes, because the pups begin falling asleep.

The pups are socialized daily by a team of volunteers. At the end of this week they got to experience collars for the first time. There are two socializing yards, one is grass the other is cement. The grass was very interesting and they quickly began pulling it out. The cement area has a covered awning so it can be used when it is raining.

Next week they will experience waking on a leash. Their walk will take them up the stairs to the graduation stage.
