Marilyn and I visited Madera Canyon, Ramsey Canyon, Tombstone, and Casa Grande National Monument. We also did a quick day trip into Mexico. March is great time to visit. There was the coolness of the higher elevations of Madera and Ramsey, and the hot weather of Tombstone and Casa Grande.
At Madera Canyon the bird watching is a priority with feeders always filled and many stations to view the birding action.
Ramsey Canyon also provides another birding habitat, but I found the area more developed with vacation condos and strip malls.
Here is Tombstones famous court house.
Casa Grande National Monument provided an interesting archeological site. Casa Grande Ruins National Monument preserves an ancient Hohokam farming community and "Great House."
