25 Mar 2006 - Hello, this is Elaine and Jonathan. We raised Covina and she is doing well in North Carolina as you might recall. I have some news on Covina's sister Clarabelle. Last summer our family traveled with our son's homeschool band as well as another band to perform in Idaho at a large amusement park. One lady from Port Angeles we made friends with while on the trip. She is albino and I was telling her about Jonathan raising guide dogs. She became very interested in guide dogs since she has had life-long vision problems due to albinism. When she got home she contacted the school. Long story short, we met this lady today at a band festival and she had her guide with her: Clarabelle! She has been home from school for only a week and is so happy with Clarabelle. Jonathan says that Clarabelle looks just like Covina and has a similar personality.
