Raising puppies for
Guide Dogs for the Blind
Located in Bend, Oregon, we are a puppy raising club for the Guide Dogs for the Blind. We receive the puppies when they are about 2 months old and return them to Guide Dogs when they are between 12 and 18 months old.
Training and Socialization of the Dogs
The puppies will be with a raiser at all times, going to work, shopping, and events.

- Socialized to the world
- Well-traveled
- People-friendly
- Animal-friendly
- Responsive
Returning the dog to Guide Dogs for the Blind for professional training
Sure it's hard to give back the dog that you have raised since it was a puppy, but the proudest moment of the raiser is knowing that their puppy is going to change a person's life. The graduate places their life in the dog's hands, creating a intimate collaboration of trust and confidence.
